Kidsbuild
What better way to get kids interested in architecture? Tappé leadership provides direction for the BSA annual event where children (and their parents) learn about design, construction, permitting and city planning by making their very own buildings in a city. https://kidsbuild.org/
Canstruction Boston
Tappé participates in the phenomenon known as Canstruction, a way for the AEC industry to support local food banks. We creatively source and execute a model based on the year’s prompt, and then donate the canned goods. http://canstruction-boston.org/
Giving Back
Our employees routinely volunteer at a number of Boston area community service centers. From Cradles to Crayons to the Open Architecture Collaborative to the Greater Boston Food Bank, members of the Tappé family love to support the communities we live in. We are also a proud supporter of Public Radio, providing support to WGBH and paneling on NHPR shows
Community Builders Academy
On a regular basis, we gather Tappé staff together to discuss and learn. Led by an expert who helps us to engage and expand our understanding of a subject, we strengthen our in-house community.
Open Architecture Collaborative
Highlighted by a 5K run each year, Tappé has sponsored the Open Architecture Collaborative and supports their initiatives OAC Boston/
Public Radio
Public Radio goes hand-in-hand with Libraries as incubators for the spreading of ideas and connecting people. We are proud to support our local Public Radio Station, WGBH
