Project Overview

The Fitchburg Library is an addition/renovation to a large urban library with architecturally significant 1967 and 1950 wings. A new double height atrium will connect the multiple wings and create a fully accessible library. Located within the monument park historic district, care was taken to preserve and replicate meaningful elements and features. The Design includes a large separated children’s library and space for many patron services.
