The Tappé team recently toured several elementary school projects nearing completion.
The tour began with Belmonte Elementary School in Saugus, MA. This addition/renovation project includes substantial interior and exterior updates.

The tour continued with Ivan G. Smith Elementary school in Danvers, MA. This new construction project includes a thoughtful and intentional design approach to the needs voiced by the Smith School, its students, and the Town of Danvers.
The new school also improves site integration by mitigating traffic/circulation bottlenecks and matching the character of the neighborhood. Universal design both inside and out allow for a seamless integration of learning and mobility. With a built capacity of 465 students, the 82,000 Sqft. school is on track to receive CHPS (Collaborative for High Performing Schools) Certification, ensuring a sustainable and healthy environments for students and teachers.
