Library Renovation
A renovated HKS Library will continue the tradition of being a vital space for the creation and sharing of knowledge and community at Harvard Kennedy School while also achieving:
- Clear spatial and architectural identity that provides the comfortable yet scholarly feeling of an academic library while harmonizing with the rest of the HKS campus.
- Additional space and choices for private study, collaborative work, educational instruction, and community-building activities while providing clear wayfinding and controlling sound flow.
- Centralized staff workspaces that facilitate collaboration and provide increased visibility for patrons.
- Community use of space beyond Library staffing hours.
- Accessibility best practices.
